The club and its activities

At Gladesville Probus we take pride in following the principles and practices of the Probus movement by providing members with a range of interests in an atmosphere of fellowship, friendship, and fun. Probus is non-political, non-sectarian, and is not a fund-raising body. We welcome you to this website and invite you to attend our next meeting. 

The Club was established in 2000 and presently has around 90 members with space for more. 

Monthly meetings Are held Gladesville Sporties, 181A Ryde Rd., Gladesville, on the 1st Thursday of each month (except Jan) from 10 am – 12.00. Meetings include a guest speaker and morning tea. 

Activities The Committee organizes regular activities including dining, local and city theatre, walking, book club, golf group, card group, day trips to places of interest and an extended trip (5-14 days) once per year within Australia or overseas.

Fees  A joining fee of $25 is required and an annual membership fee of $50 is payable by 1 April. This fee covers all costs (other than outings) and membership of Probus South Pacific Ltd through which you may obtain travel insurance at competitive rates along with other benefits.
